QuestionsTotal Dividends Paid
Heng asked 4 years ago

The Total Dividends Paid in the IQ Excel Spreadsheet is DPS (declared by the Chairman in his Letter to Shareholders) multiplied by the No. of Shares.
Do these derived Total Dividends Paid include Dividends paid to Non-Controlling Interests?  If yes, this would mean that the No. of Shares include both Common Shareholders and Minority Interests.  I understand that the no. of shares is purely Common Shareholders’ shares?  Or are Dividends paid to Non-Controlling Interests completely excluded from the Total Dividends Paid?

Hi Helen,
The total dividend paid is excluding the dividend from minority shareholder. It is only for common shareholders
