i dont understand. mgo will be trigger when u own above 33% but in this article, it also mention 7 eleven intends to maintain caring pharmacy listing status on main market subsequent to the mgo. How? I thought MGO means you have to buy all the shares.
Hi Zhi Ming,
MGO means that the main owner have to offer to buy the shares once they hit a certain trigger point even if they do not have the intention to delist it. In this case, the owner do not have the intention that why they mentioned that they want the company to stay listed. Hence, it will also signal the shareholder not to sell the share if they still want to hold on to the company.
