Hi guys,
Anything to take note for shares trading on OTC for the US markets?
I am interested in a Japanese company trading in TSE but I don’t have a japanese brokerage account.

I found out it is on US OTC markets not sure if there’s anything to take note before I initiate a position.

Thanks

Hi JR,

I did not invest in OTC stocks before. For Japan stocks, we usually either purchase using local broker or interactive broker. Another alternative is Boom securities (https://www.boom.com/en/) that allow you to purchase Japan stocks. From what i heard last time, you have to fly to hong kong to open trading account with them. I am not sure whether you can open it online.

Hi Victor,

Okay then. Maybe I’ll skip at the moment.

Thanks again.
