Was reading your article about the inverted yield curve. Curious if there is any similar indicator for the local market. If I want to do something similar for Singapore, which yield should i be looking at.
Thanks for reading! You can have a look at the Singapore government bond yields, but I don’t believe that a study has been done for the Singaporean context, so the findings may not apply.
On a different note, we do compare fixed yields against the stock index yield from time to time. If the spread is getting too narrow, it could suggest that the stock market is getting too expensive.
