QuestionsCategory: Stock ScreeningInsider Buying Activity
Amandeep Singh asked 1 year ago

Hi guys
I was going through the course material online and one of the things that fascinated me was how companies would pop on your radar to look into. One of the things mentioned is the insider buying activity. Can I please check how do you monitor for such activity for Asian markets (SG, MY, TH, etc.)? Most free stock screeners (other than FinViz for US) don’t have such a feature. Do you use Shareinvestor Pro or similar such services?

Hi Amandeep,
1.For Singapore and Malaysia companies, we usually track the insider buying from The Edge. This magazine published once a week and consolidation the news, insider buying, share buyback of the week. As for Thailand market, at the moment I still have not find the proper source to get it.
2.I am not using Shareinvestor so I can;t comment on whether they have the service or not. As for other services that provide screen for insider, there are such services in the market which cost quite a lot of retail investors. Example, Bloomberg, CapitalIQ or Factset.
