Yik hong Soo asked 1 year ago

Hi Admin,
When I try to consolidate the revenue in the income statement of Coca cola company, I found out that the Revenue values are not the same in (2019) and (2018) 10K reports. May I know why and which one should I follow ?
e.g.
Revenue : 34,300 (Mil) in Year 2018 (2019 Annual report)
Revenue : 31,856 (Mil) in Year 2018 (2018 Annual report)

Hi Yik Hong,

Due to the constant change in account on how revenue is recognise or the large operation of the company. It is very common for some restatement in the figure. You just have to based on the latest new numbers. Most of the time, the percentage change is quite insignificant.
