QuestionsCategory: Entry StrategiesCalculating historical dividend yield
Thomas asked 6 years ago

I want to calculated the historical high and low dividend yield of a company, however, as I went to the check on the company’s historical share price I have doubts whether to use the closing share price or the adjusted share price as stated in Yahoo Finance website.
Which should I use? and why? Thanks! =)

Hi Thomas,
You should use the adjusted price as the price is account for split or consolidation
