You’re right. However, in my opinion, it really boils on how far you want to do your analysis and investment portfolio size. If you’re dealing with six figure portfolio and above, it’s definitely worth doing it! Otherwise, you could simply cover one eye and proceed with the analysis.
Another suggestion is… you can always arrange a holiday trip to that country (with some add-on for due-diligence). For example, one of our IQ members, Andy Ang visited Macau for holiday recently and he did mentioned that he would drop by to Future Bright restaurants since it is on the way. One stone kills two birds!
