Your point is valid. Anything that drops, it is definitely worth taking a look. However, not all drops are created equal. You still have to assess each of its fundamental and prospects in-depth to see if the drops are temporary (cyclical) or permanent.
Have you did a thorough study on them? You could use IQ at the start.
